Spicy, savory, and a little cheesy, our take on the classic snack mix is difficult to stop eating. Feel free to use whatever nuts or mixed nuts you like, or swap in sesame sticks or corn nuts if nut allergies are a concern. This makes a party-sized amount, but feel free to cut it in half for everyday snacking.
This recipe is easy to adjust depending on if you want more cheddar crackers or if you want more pretzels or if you have another kind of crunchy snack you want to add to the mix! When it is cooled, pop the snack mix in a jar, tie a ribbon around the top, and you have an instant present for a friend.
Mix corn chex, wheat chex, nuts, pretzels, and cheese crackers in a large bowl.
Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat or in a microwave safe dish, then add Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, Piment d’Ville, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion, powder, sugar, and salt and mix well.
Drizzle butter mixture over snacks and mix well to coat. Divide mixture between two rimmed baking sheets.
Bake, stirring every ten minutes, until cereal is crisp and lightly toasted, about 20 to 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
